ADA MADELEINE LECUYER
September 24, 1928 – March 6, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Madeleine Lecuyer (nee Tumbach) announce her peaceful passing on March 6, 2026 at the age of 97 years.
Madeleine is survived by nine children: Sandra Loudon, Linda Yeast, Art (Terry-Lou) Lecuyer, J.B Lecuyer, Sherry Egeland, Les Lecuyer, Dolly (David) Foy, Tracy (Kathy) Lecuyer, and Fritz (Danette) Lecuyer.
Also mourning are her seven grandchildren: Jennifer Loudon, Kelly (Krista) Loudon, Mark (Autumn) Yeast, Chelsea (Niki) Lecuyer, Lyndon Egeland, B.J. (Jenn) Foy, and Robert (Rachel) Foy, and their families: 12 cherished great grandchildren: Grace Loudon, Ava and Harper Loudon, Brielle and Camden Schweitzer-Yeast, Connor Palmer, Lilla and Tommi Egeland, Jaxon and Karter Foy, and Gavyn and Garret Foy. Also, bother-in-law, Peter Maruca, and many nieces and nephews.
Madeleine was predeceased by her husband, Lynn Lecuyer; parents Joe and Aurelia Tumbach; siblings Cecilia (Bob) Rourke, Harold (Marie) Tumbach, Gerald (Catherine) Tumbach, Stella Maruca, and baby brother Arthur. Sons-in-law: Jim Loudon, Gerald Yeast, and Tom Egeland; and daughter-in-law, Connie Lecuyer.
Madeleine was a life-long resident of Sceptre and has resided in the Leader Western Senior Citizens Home for the last four years. The family extends thanks to the staff and volunteers.

A Celebration of Life will take place April 25th, 2026 at 12:00 noon at the Sceptre Hall.
