CRAWFORD, William “Keith”
Posted: June 10th, 2026 CRAWFORD It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of WILLIAM KEITH CRAWFORD DDS on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the age of 81 years.
Keith was the beloved husband of the late Donna Jean Crawford and a devoted father to his five children: Cia (Pete Malcolm), Gavin (Kyle Tingley), Alexis Crawford, Regan (Scott Sera), and Clark (Nikla Reddy). He was also a proud and loving grandfather to Griffin, Hallie, Romy, Farrah, Piper, Sloane, Willow, Wren, Bridget, Sophie, and Archer. Keith is also survived by his beloved dog, Andy, and by many dear friends, both lifelong and new.
Keith built his dental practice in Taber, Alberta from the ground up, serving as the community’s dentist for more than 40 years. He was more than a skilled clinician, he was someone his patients could count on, a constant presence in the community. His integrity, generosity and genuine care for the people he treated left a lasting mark, and his legacy in dentistry carries on through his son-in-law and his son, both of whom followed him into the profession.
An avid outdoorsman, Keith embraced life with a fearless enthusiasm. Whether in the mountains skiing or snowmobiling, on the water boating and fishing, or hunting across the prairies (often with his lifelong friend Dennis Collins), he pursued what he loved wholeheartedly and brought others along for the ride. Age did not slow him down, as he spent his retirement on the golf course and at the LFG shooting range where he became a mentor to many.
Above all, Keith was a loving father and grandfather. He adored his children and grandchildren and was always there for them, no matter the occasion. Whether cheering at his grandchildren’s sporting events and competitions or attending his sons’ plays, he was their biggest champion – calm, steady, and reassuring. His proud presence and cheering from the sidelines will be deeply missed
A Celebration of Life will be held at the GALT MUSEUM & ARCHIVES, 502 – 1 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. All who loved Keith are warmly invited to drop in, share stories, and celebrate his remarkable life together. Light refreshments will be provided.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (heartandstroke.ca/donate) in Keith’s memory.
Keith will live on in the hearts of so many that loved him, and Alberta’s Sandhill Crane population can sleep easy tonight.
