MICHAEL GODFREY 1967 ~ 2026 On Wednesday, June 17th, we lost our best kept secret, Mike. Michael John Godfrey passed away peacefully and gracefully at the Carmel Hospice in St. Joseph’s Home after a well fought battle with cancer. Mike was a quiet soul, loved by those who got to really know him. Like his Dad, Garry, Mike was an avid gear-head. Cancer did not slow Michael down, we are still receiving deliveries of parts for his various projects. Mike was proud of his mechanical and model projects. He was humble, kind and shared an endless, quiet generosity for others. A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel in the coming weeks. Details of the day and time of Mike’s celebration will be posted to his obituary on the Cook Southland website once confirmed.
