JUDY JOSEPHSON June 27, 1952 ~ June 26, 2026
Geraldine Judith Josephson, more affectionately known as Judy, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital with her family by her side, on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the age of 73 years.
Left with beautiful memories of Judy are her children, Kevin (Thanakitta ‘Rose’) Josephson, Kelly (Craig) McIlhargey and Keith (Stacy) Josephson; grandchildren, Mia, Jack and Burton McIlhargey; brother, Richard (Ruth) Davidson; cousin, Marie Schwabe; her feline friend, Sammy as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends were at the center of Judy’s life. She treasured the time she spent with those she loved, whether it was sharing stories, enjoying a visit or simply being together. Her kindness touched countless people and the friendships she built over the years were a reflection of the caring person she was.
Judy had a deep love for animals, especially her cats, who brought her endless comfort and companionship. She was also a devoted fan of the Medicine Hat Tigers and enjoyed cheering them on whenever she had the chance.
Those who knew Judy will remember her gentle nature, her generous heart and her ability to offer advice that came from experience, compassion and genuine care. She made a difference in many lives simply by being herself.
Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created, the love she shared and the example of kindness she lived by will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
