ASH 1947 – 2026 RICHARD “JIM” JAMES ASH, beloved husband of Judie Ash, passed away on at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
Besides his wife Judie, Jim is survived by his son Darcey (Gail) and grandson Connor; and daughter Kori; several sisters-in-law, two brothers-in- law, several nieces and nephews, and his golf buddies.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, Dick and Wilma Ash, parents-in-law Bob and Hilda Mutch, brother Tom and brother-in-law Rob Mutch.
Jim was employed with the City of Lethbridge Electric Operations for 50 years, retiring in August 2016.
Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Chinook Regional Hospital and Jack Ady Cancer Centre.
As per Jim’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home.
