Leslie Joseph Karl Tolnai June 13, 1967 – June 29, 2026 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leslie Joseph Karl Tolnai, who passed away peacefully at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary on June 29, 2026, at the age of 59. Born at the same hospital on June 13, 1967, Les’ life came full circle as he spent both his first and final moments there.
Les leaves behind his children, Matthew (Jacquie), Toni (Felix), and Paige; his grandchildren, Phillip and Josie; his mom, Lisa Mack; his Dad, Frank Riha; his brothers, Kirk and Joe; his nieces and nephews, Shaylee, Brayden, Darren, and Isabel; his stepchildren, Mikey, Raine, and Daelyn; and many friends and neighbours who became family.
A master drywaller, proud grandfather, golfer, gardener, and loyal friend, Les will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, infectious laugh, and enthusiastic cries of “OPA!”
A celebration of life will be held July 18, 2026, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre in Lethbridge.
