ROSEMARY GATZ October 5, 1939 ~ August 22, 2026
Rosemary Katherine Gatz, beloved wife of Edward James Gatz, passed away in Medicine Hat on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the age of 86 years.
Rosemary built a life she was proud of through many years of farming. She embraced the hard work and simple joys that came with farm life and created many lasting memories along the way. She was just shy of 68 years of marriage, sharing a long and loving life with Edward.
Above all, Rosemary cherished her family. She was a loving mom and took great pride and joy in being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a wonderful ability to make friends wherever she went, leaving a warm and lasting impression on those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Rosemary will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Edward Gatz; her children, Darwin (Linda) Gatz and Kelly (Dave) Young; four grandchildren and six great -grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family.
