PAUL SCHAUFELE 1955 ~ 2026 We, the family of Paul Stephen Schaufele, announce his passing from this earth with mixed emotions. He passed away with family by his side on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the age of 71 years. Our hearts are heavy with sadness because he left us, but we are thankful that he no longer is suffering and joyful that we will meet again. Paul leaves to mourn his passing: “his sweetie”, Betty-Jo Schaufele; daughters, Rebecca (Fred) Trinh, Carrie (Ryan) Boschman, Erin (Chris) Loewen, Courtnay (Nairen) Duncan and their families; siblings, John (Rennie) Schaufele, Rachel (Wayne) Booker and Sue (Bill) Smienk and their families; mother-in-law, Ruth Jersak; Betty’s siblings, Tim (Grace) Jersak, Melodie (Ian) Hunt, Dianne (Dave) Brown and Luella (Ron) Krueger and their families. Paul was pre-deceased by his parents, Albert and Sally Schaufele; sister, Joan and his father-in-law, Joe Jersak. A Celebration of Paul’s life will be held at the Bow Island Evangelical Free Church on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor George Mills officiating. A private interment will be held prior to the service at the Bow Island Cemetery. The service will be live streamed.
