SUSAN BREDESON 1954 ~ 2026 On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, Susan Bredeson went home to be with her Lord. Sue was born October 28,1954, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Melvin and Ethel Waldschmidt. She moved to Watertown, Wisconsin, where she met her husband, Jim, while working as a recreational aide. They were married August 29, 1981. Sue was always caring for people; she spent the next 45 years serving with her husband in congregations across North America. Jim and Sue were blessed by the births of their sons, John-Mark in 1986 and Christopher in 1987. Sue was known for her faith in Jesus and her warm hugs and smiles. She participated in many ministries in church including choir and ladies’ groups. She spent the last months of her life at the Wellington where she enjoyed looking after other residents. Sue was pre-deceased by her parents, Melvin and Ethel Waldschmidt, and two brothers, John and David. She is survived by her husband, Jim; son, John-Mark (Cassy) and their children: Abigail, Judah, and Levi; son, Christopher (Emily), and their children: Benjamin and Rosalie, and also by her brother, Mell (Norma). Interment will take place in the HILLSIDE CEMETERY on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. Those who wish to attend please gather at the main gates. The Memorial Service will be held at the VICTORY LUTHERAN CHURCH (2793 Southview Dr. SE) on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Grant Crichton, officiating.
