JOHN PASCOE
Posted: October 17th, 2026JOHN PASCOE 1936 ~ 2026 John Milton Pascoe of Medicine Hat passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the age of 90 years. Born in Kincaid, Saskatchewan, on June 22, 1936, to Milton and Norah Pascoe (nee Bradley), John was the youngest of three children. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Saskatchewan, studying Vocational Agriculture. During the summers, he farmed alongside his father. In 1960, John took over the family farm and spent the winter months in Regina, where he worked as a drywaller until the farm was fully established. John met the love of his life, Darlene Lech, in 1957, and they were married on October 17, 1959, in Kincaid. Together they built a home on the family farm, raised three children and created a place where family, friends, and neighbors were always welcome. In 1998, John and Darlene retired to Medicine Hat where he became an avid golfer, woodworker and reader. John had a thirst for knowledge, an appreciation for good conversation and a talent for creating beautiful stained-glass artwork. John was predeceased by his parents, Milton and Norah Pascoe; his sisters, Bernice and Mildred; his father-in-law, Joe Lech and his mother-in-law, Eugina Lech (nee Pashniak). He will always be lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Darlene; his children, Nancy, Doug (Sharlene) and Andrea (Brent); seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
