PYSH, Joseph

PYSH 1943-2026 JOSEPH MYRON PYSH, of Picture Butte, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at the age of 83, with his beloved wife of 61 years, Cornelia Pysh, and his eldest son, Darren (Cindy) by his side.
Joe is also survived by his two other children, Greg (Crystal) & Natasha (Neil); his grandchildren: Jeffery & Samantha, and Katarina & Jack; and his great-grandchildren, Emery & Lucas; as well as his brother David (Anne).
He is sadly predeceased by his parents, Myron & Apolonia Pysh; his three brothers: Elmer, Fred, and Daniel; his sister Joan; and his grandson Steven Pysh.
Fond memories of Joe are driving up and down the coulees of Lethbridge with the love of his life, camping and spending time with his family. He worked hard all his life in different fields, such as mechanics, carpentry, fireplace installation and truck driving to care for his family’s needs until he became ill. Even then, Joe had incredible strength and a desire for life through all the health challenges. He was a loyal servant of our Creator, Jehovah God and will be dearly missed until his resurrection in the coming New World. Acts 24:15
Per his request, no service will be held. His inurnment will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026 in Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
