TANNER Norma

Posted: September 15th, 2012

NORMA TANNER of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Harold, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 10, 2012 at the age of 79, and we are sure, she is happy to be finally reunited with her husband again.
She was born in Monticello, Utah, but a young man from Magrath, persuaded her to make Southern Alberta her home, ever since.
The hallmarks of her life were generosity and compassion; concerning herself with the comfort of others, before herself. She loved people and was keen on being a true friend. Many of those, were made during her travels in diverse parts of the world; bonding solid friendships; keeping in touch years later.
Norma’s career was her family, co-ordinating events and memories for her 2 children; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Friends may meet the family on Friday evening, September 14 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, or prior to the funeral service at the church from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. on Saturday.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, LETHBRIDGE STAKE CENTRE, 2410-28 Street South, Lethbridge.
