PUHL Tony

With deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of MR. TONY JOHN PUHL, in his home on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the age of 81 years.
Dad always claimed he was a country boy from Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan and said he was lucky in life having a wonderful family. Tony was known for his sense of humor everywhere he went.
He worked hard his entire life and was so proud when he built the family home and was able to buy Forrest Color Center, happily helping everyone who came through his door.
As a member, and instructor of the local amateur radio club (VE6FR) was known for his fast Morse code and ability to help students pass their exams.
A founding member of the Victory Church, he printed all the materials for many years. Tony loved long hikes in the mountains and especially his Boler trailer and travels through-out Canada, the US and Australia, including this summer. He knew the best bakery in every town.
Music was very important to our Dad, he played the drums at 9 years of age with his Father, guitar, violin, mandolin and especially harmonicas. He also loved to be in his garage working on his many ‘projects’.

Tony will also be greatly missed by his fiancée Hazel Carroll.
He is survived by his 5 children whom he loved very much.

And 5 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by: Sister-in-law Adela Dieterle and Brother-in-law Paul Michaud.
Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Friday, September 21, 2012, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at the CENTRAL CHURCH OF CHRIST, 716 – 23 Street North, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM, Luncheon to follow. Private interment will be held.
