Jeanette Mae Haley (Johnson)
October 18, 1926 – November 14, 2012
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanette Mae Haley on November 14, 2012 at St. Michael’s Health Centre in Lethbridge after a short illness. Jeanette was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband Alexander (Al) of Lethbridge; stepson Bernie Haley (Marilyn) of Parksville brothers Lloyd Johnson of Edmonton, Al Johnson (Bev) of Nanaimo; Jim Johnson (Rose) of Pincher Creek; as well as her nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents John and Sarah Johnson; husband Ernie and sister-in-law Doris.
Prior to retirement, Jeanette was employed for many years by Nova in Calgary. There she established herself in various positions where she was respected for her hard work and dedication and more importantly she was a trusted friend and colleague. Jeanette moved to Pincher Creek in 1994 where she and Al were married. It was a time of great joy for both. They have resided in Lethbridge since 2009.
Jeanette and Al enjoyed their travels and particularly an ancestry trip to the Ukraine and Norway which brought them some very special memories. Jeanette was a very welcoming hostess in their home and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She was a warm, fun, classy and special lady, adored and loved by many.
We love you darling Jeanette and will greatly miss you.
