WALTER ROY KINSEY of Lethbridge AB, beloved husband of Frances Kinsey passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on November 18, 2012
Roy was born in Taber, AB, on January 26, 1931, was predeceased by his parents Walter & Mary Kinsey/Jesperson and step father Les Jespersen.
Roy was a farmer, rancher and in 1970 was employed by the provincial government, Municipal Affairs as an Assessor until 1987. He then worked with Alberta Emergency Disaster Services retiring in 1997. Roy was an avid fisherman and camper up until his passing.
He is survived by his loving wife Frances, son Trevor (Diane) Kinsey of Medicine Hat, daughter Gaye (Jack) Sleightholm of Lethbridge, grandchildren Veronica (Joey) Dekker of Kelowna, BC, Shauna (Glen) Ford of Courtenay, BC, Great granddaughter Merrissa Ford, step children Donna-Marie Mantler and Garry Mercer of Lethbridge, step-granddaughters Roxann (Dave & Justin) Fontain of Coaldale, DJ (Ryan) Murphy of Lethbridge, 2 step-grandsons Brok and Quinn Fontain of Coaldale, sister-in-law Bertha Pierson and family of Lethbridge.
Cremation. At Roy’s request there will be no formal service. Memorial donations may be made in Roy’s memory to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre 2A 102, 690 – 19 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 1W5
