MR. MATTHEW (MATT) SLOVACK, beloved husband of Phyllis Slovack of Lethbridge, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the age of 92 years.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 69 years, sons: David (Colleen) of Lethbridge, Ken (Marlene) of Oliver, BC; daughters: Donna Wheatcroft of Calgary, and Joan (Dan) Metzger of Red Deer; 15 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother Bill (Pierette) Slovack of Comox, BC, and two sisters: Rose Cropley of Lethbridge, and Pat Lamb of California. Matt was predeceased by daughter Linda Seely, son-in-law Garth Seely, and two sisters: Francis Stretch and Teresa Heap. An Open House to celebrate Matt’s life will be held from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Lethbridge Senior Centre, 500-11 Street South, Lethbridge. Everyone whose life has been touched by Matt, is invited to come and share “car” stories with family and friends.
