ZUEHLKE Kendra

Posted: December 15th, 2012

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that Armand and Bonnie Zuehlke announce the sudden and unexpected passing of their beloved daughter MISS KENDRA ANN RENEE ZUEHLKE on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the age of 22 years.
“Kenn” was the second child born to delighted parents Armand and Bonnie Zuehlke on May 1, 1990 in Lethbridge, Alberta, where she resided until her passing.
Kendra began her education with Miss Pattie’s Kindergarten class where independence was the focus: a lesson Kendra learned well, as this remained a strong personality trait her entire life. She completed her schooling at Winston Churchill before continuing with her education at the U of L. It was her heartfelt passion to complete her English and Education degrees and to continue with her Master’s in Education. Kendra spoke of how a good teacher could make a difference in the life of a child, something she had experienced firsthand. She couldn’t wait to take on the role, being confident she could be a positive influence on a young life.
Kendra filled her life with activities and was never afraid to take on the world. She danced with Miss Gerry for twelve years, striving to do better than her best in competitions and loving the comradeship of her girls. At this point of her life she “lived” to dance. In her spare time, Kenn participated in soccer, modeling classes, swimming lessons and completed the guiding program ending with a trip to Paris and London. After high school, Kendra participated in an Au Pair program which took her to Italy.
Kendra is survived by parents Armand and Bonnie; brother Aaron; sister Kacie; grandfather Ken Romanchuk; aunts, uncles and cousins and a wide circle of friends.
Kendra faced life with enthusiasm and vigor, never afraid of a challenge and remained true to the person she was. She will be remembered for her smiling eyes, warm heart, contagious smile and witty sense of humor by all who were blessed to know her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 17, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Deacon Cliff Bogdan officiating.
