ERICKSON Antonietta

1919 ~ 2013 GINGER ERICKSON of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Clarence Erickson, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 24, 2013 at the age of 93 years.

She leaves behind her children Penny and Barry (Schari). As a proud grandmother and great grandmother, Ginger also leaves behind grandsons Brett and Dallas (mother Laurie) and Kennedy her great-granddaughter who all were the apple of her eye. Ginger was born and raised in the Lethbridge area. Ginger spent her early years working on the family farm (Pavan Dairy) until she met Clarence. Clarence and Ginger were married over fifty years and farmed in the Lethbridge area. Ginger was an avid gardener, world class cook and wonderful mother who will be missed dearly. One of Ginger¹s passions was the church and she spent countless volunteer hours at McKillop helping all those who she touched. In addition, there are many extended family members that Ginger held close to her heart; The Black/Stryker family, the McKillop family, and the many friends and neighbors who were part of her life. Ginger¹s family wishes to thank the staff of the St. Michael¹s Palliative Care Unit and the CRH GARU unit for their compassionate care of Mom.Ginger was survived by her sister Peef; sister-in-laws Liz, Lucy, and Bernice. She was predeceased by her parents Maria and Joseph and her siblings, Carl, Joey, Marguerite, Louie, and Benny.A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, April 29, 2013 at MCKILLOP UNITED CHURCH | 2329- 15 Avenue South, Lethbridge, with Reverend Trevor Potter officiating.
