ASATO Toshiro

Posted: May 11th, 2013

On May 5, 2013, Toshiro (Tom) Asato passed away at the age of 81 years.
A man of grace, intelligence, humor, style and dignity, he played a major role in the lives of those he touched. Tom’s dedication to family and friends was true and honest. In addition to the above, many good times were spent around the table at dinner, great food and lively conversation would guarantee a smile on his face.
A true sportsman from the beginning, Tom played hockey on the frozen ponds and baseball on the dusty fields of Southern Alberta. He went on to be an avid golfer and at the age of 55, was proud to be the oldest player on a hockey team
He was an incredible man with an open heart and open arms. He will be sadly missed and sincerely honored by those who knew him and will always love him.
In keeping with Tom’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A celebration in Tom’s honor will occur at a later date.
