Vera Viola Grahl (nee Reckzine), beloved wife of the late Albert Grahl,
passed away peacefully in Taber on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the age of 85
The Funeral Service will be held at the Peace Lutheran Church, 4619 – 56
Avenue, Taber on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Carl Bogda
officiating. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Vera is survived by her three children Wendy Grahl of Edmonton, LeeAnn
(Mark) Wallace of Medicine Hat, Kevin (Lynn) Grahl of Calgary; grandchildren
Darren (Kathy) Pawlyk of Calgary, Jarrett (Tobi) Pawlyk of Edmonton, Kaitlyn
Grahl and Kristyn Grahl of Calgary as well as great-grandchildren Jake
Pawlyk and Cain Pawlyk. She is also survived by her two remaining sisters
Hilda Discher of Pembroke, Ontario and Elsa Court of Bobcaygeon, Ontario.
Vera’s family would also like to acknowledge Pearl Oram who was such a
wonderful friend to Vera over the years. She enjoyed her walks, trips to
local eateries with friends and crocheting. Vera was an avid hockey fan and
generally could be found in front of her TV set during playoff games. She
will be dearly missed by her family.
