HARKER Jean

JEAN HARKER, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, 92, passed away May 5, 2013 in Edmonton, Alberta.
Jean was born December 25, 1920 in Magrath, Alberta to James and Genevieve Sabey. Jean formed many lifelong friendships, especially with her “club girls.” Jean married Levi Martin Harker on July 4, 1942. They settled in Lethbridge and made it their home. Jean and Lee were blessed with two daughters, Lois and Sally. Jean had a great memory and would never forget a birthday or anniversary. She was blessed to spend her last few months with both of her daughters caring for her. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her brothers, Max (Phyllis) Sabey and Burns (Elaine) Sabey, daughters, Lois Leonard and Sally Hampton, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents, James and Genevieve, loving husband, Levi and her brother, Dick.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, GARDEN PLACE CHAPEL, Magrath, with Bishop John Balderson officiating. Friends may meet the family prior to the service at the church from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m.
Interment to follow in the Magrath Cemetery.
