WIENS Abram

MR. ABRAM WIENS, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Helena Wiens, went to meet his Lord and Saviour while at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at the age of 85.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by daughter Joyce (Dennis) Johnson and children Julie (Darren) Nikkel and great-grandchildren Jaxon and Kamryn; Daryl, Darcy (Rhonda); son Tim (Lue) and children Kyle, Jason, and Kendell (Jill); son Andy; son Dave (Shirley) and children Lyndsey (Mickey) Friesen, Matthew, Kimberley; son Thomas; daughter Tamara Marilyn (John) Stevens and children Nicholas (Cathy) Kuhn, Alexandra Kuhn. He leaves behind 2 sisters: Katherine (Peter) Tymburski and Ruth Wyton, and 1 brother Neil Wiens, sister-in-law Olive Wiens, and brother-in-law John Hildebrand. He will also be missed by numerous other relatives and friends.
Abram was predeceased by sons Abe and Peter and his beloved wife Helena; parents Frank and Helena Wiens; sisters Mary Tymburski, Lucille Wiens, and Ellen Hildebrand, brother Frank, and brother-in-law Ralph Wyton.
Abram was born on February 29, 1928, in Airdrie, Alberta. He married Helena Martens on June 19, 1954, and farmed in Coaldale and later in Lomond for 37 years. They retired in Coaldale in 1994.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the COALDALE MENNONITE BRETHEREN CHURCH, 2114-18th Street, Coaldale on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M.
A Graveside Service will take place at the COALDALE MENNONITE CEMETERY on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 12:30 P.M.
A Memorial Service will follow at the COALDALE MENNONITE BRETHEREN CHURCH, 2114-18th Street, Coaldale on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Rudy Heidebrecht and Pastor Lorne Willms.
