VEER Erma

MRS. ERMA VEER, of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2013 at the age of 73 years. She is the loving mother of Tom Dyck of Lethbridge. She is also survived by her brother Helmut Jannert and Sister Erna Epp. Erma was predeceased by her husband Jake Veer and her son Jerry Dyck.
Erma Veer (Nee Jannert) was born February 20th, 1940 in Fuerstenwerder, Saporshje, Ukraine. During the war years the family made their way from the Ukraine to Germany and from there to Paraguay, South America. In 1955 they emigrated to Canada. Erma spent a few years in Vauxhall, AB. before moving to Coaldale where she spent a number of years. She then moved to Lethbridge where she resided until her death, following a lengthy illness.
Erma treasured the company and special times shared with friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Del Bertsch officiating.
