ANNE (ANNA) WELLS — Siipianhkiaki – Night Singing Woman, beloved daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. James Wells II of the Blood Reserve, passed away at her home on June 30, 2013 at the age of 65 years. Anna is survived by her children Raymond Jr. (Kyla), Carolyn (Shawn), Russell (Candace), Jodi, Dana (Dallas) and her beloved pet Shih tzu "Baby"; adopted children Bradley Knife-Williams, Jay Cody Many Fingers, Raven Bastien; all of her nieces and nephews whom she took as her own; Foster Children Eli and Aaron Wells.; siblings Theresa Mistaken Chief, Jerry Wells, Nina (Eric) Buckskin, Carla (Bruce), Shirley Mountain Horse, Yvonne (Calvin) Morning Bird, Gordon (Natalie) Morning Bird, and Bernard (Agnes) Shouting; grandchildren Waylon (Kaylee), Elissa (Trevor), Sarah, Allie, Dalton, Raymond Jr. III, Alex, Sandra (Blaine), Cara (Phillip), Shawn (Missy), Warren, Neal, Ty, Taylor, Trey, Chase, Billie, Tyler, Jessica and Baby Rylan Chiefbody, Shawna and Leslie Weasel Fat, Hanna, Mackenna and Courage; Great — grandchildren Tristen, Kayden, Kimora, Whitney, Tessa, Tahlia, Rylan, Nyasia, Akaisha, Rhozy, Poppy, Cash, Maddy, Mckinley, and Angelo; Aunties Beauty Wells and Harriet Wells; numerous close cousins and relatives. She was predeceased by her son James Wells IV; grandchildren Reese, Jenna and Jordan Bastien — Wells; parents James (Stomiksoopi)) & Molly (Maani) (nee Long Time Squirrel) Wells II; sisters Florence Brave Rock, Shirley Calf Robe, Joan Wells and Esther First Rider; brothers Jimmy, Edwin ‘Smokey’, Jordan Wells and Nap Black Rabbit.;two infant siblings Jesse and Dominic Wells.; Paternal Grandparents James (Saapaata) and Annie (Saotskiaki) Wells; Maternal Grandparents Long Time Squirrel (Miisomi’kaiysi) and Christine (Issammo). Anna will be lovingly remembered for her sense of humour, caring, and thoughtful ways. Relatives and Friends are invited to a Wake Service at the Moses Lake Community Hall, Blood Reserve on Sunday July 7th, 2013 from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Monday July 8th, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Father Pawel Andrasz Officiating. Interment in the Blood Band Cemetery.
