CAHOON Bryce

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of BRYCE D CAHOON, 75, on September 2nd, 2013 at home, after a courageous and patient battle with mesothelioma.
Bryce was born on April 29, 1938 in Cardston; the youngest of three sons born to Laura and Lloyd Cahoon. Bryce was so appreciative of his family during this difficult time for their attentiveness and loving care. He is survived by his wife Marilyn (Lawlor) having just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June. Bryce is survived by seven children David, Todd (Shelley), Karen (Randy Mackenzie), Darren (Deborah), Michael (Vicki), Scott (Anita), Kristy (Daniel Sims), and 22 cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Jim (Kathleen) and brothers-in-law Larry (Barbara), Dean, Wayne, Keith (Roberta), Joseph, David (Brenda), Gordon (Cindy) and many special nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Bryce was predeceased by his parents, and his in-laws Lawrence and Wilma Lawlor, his brother George and his wife Hazel, his sister-in-law Janice and her husband Scott Peck and sister-in-law Margaret Lawlor. Bryce was a devoted member of the LDS church and he served in many leadership positions. He also served the community on various health boards, both locally and in the region. Friends may meet the family at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Thursday, September 5th, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. or at the Church from 1:00 to 1:45 a.m. prior to the Service.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cardston Alberta West Stake Center (Waterton Hi-way) on Friday, September 6th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Cardston Cemetery. Email your condolences to: legacyfh@telus.net
