1938 – 2013
Robert (Bob) Coulson Jenkins, passed away in Pincher Creek, Alberta on July 19th 2013. Born on July 14th 1938 to Walt and Gee Jenkins, Bob spent his life ranching on the land he loved near Waterton Park. Predeceased by siblings Mic Johnson (nee Jenkins) and Joe Jenkins; Bob is survived by his daughter Jennifer and her partner Jeff Henderson, his brother Tom (Frances) Jenkins, many special nieces & nephews, along with numerous lifetime friends including The Cassidy’s who became his extended family. Over the years Bob’s love of cattle would take him too many purebred cattle events and sales, where he made great friendships which would last his lifetime. His appreciation for the land, and desire to preserve Southwest Alberta’s ranch lands took his life in a new direction as he served two terms on the Pincher Creek and District Municipal Council. No matter where he was, or what he was doing it can be said that Bob always made an impression. Bob will be remembered for being a great story teller, a patient teacher and true cattlemen.
