KOSZO Mihaly

MIHALY "Mike" KOSZO, beloved husband of Katalin Koszo of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the age of 81 years. Mihaly was born in Kecel, Hungary on September 28th, 1931. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 and began working at the Catelli Pasta Factory in Lethbridge, becoming a Machinist which he did for 43 years. He was a founding member of the Hungarian Cultural Society, serving on the Executive. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his many friends. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Katalin, daughter Debbie and granddaughter Victoria. He also leaves three brothers and four sisters in Hungary and many nieces and nephews in Hungary. He was predeceased by his parents and six siblings. Thank you to the staff at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit for the compassion given to Mike while he was your care. A Funeral service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 — Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Friday, September 6th, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., with Deacon Cliff Bogdan officiating.
Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge. In memory of Mihaly, contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Foundation, Palliative Care Unit, 1400 – 9th Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 4V5.
