MR. DOUG STRAIN, beloved husband of Mrs. Clara Strain of Lethbridge, AB formerly of Foremost, AB, passed away peacefully at the St. Therese Villa on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the age of 96 years. Besides his loving wife Clara, he is survived by his children; Lloyd (Alice) Strain of Foremost, Maryllyn (Bernard) Miller of Milk River, Dwain (Deceased), Brian Strain (Norah Fleming) of Lethbridge, stepchildren; Marlene (Roy) Ermter of Coaldale, Dwayne Urban of Lethbridge, and Sheila (Bruce) of Cardston.
He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and brothers Bert Strain of Stettler, and Art Strain of Foremost. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects prior to the funeral service from 12:00 P.M. – 12:45 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held at the FOREMOST COMMUNITY HALL – 802 1st Avenue West, Foremost, Alberta on August 26, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Terry Shillington officiating.
Interment to follow at Foremost Community Cemetery.
