SCOUT Kieven

Born September 8th, 2013 in the Lethbridge Regional Hospital, KIEVEN DEXTER SCOUT passed away September 21st, 2013 in the Alberta Children’s Hospital, Calgary.

Kieven is the beloved son of Dexter Scout and Dezeray Thomas; brother of Layla Scout; grandson of Gary & Kym Scout and Dolly Ann Thomas; great grandmother Mildred Scout; nephew to Millie (Nicholas Iron Shirt), Ross, Sam Scout, Kassandra Black Water, Terrace Iron Shirt/Scout, Jaime (Jeff) Klause, Jason Thomas, Shay Klause, Tenille Iron Shirt and Richard Thomas; cousins Aiden, Haitti, Haiden Iron Shirt, Sweetie, R.T. Scout, Riel and Benny Scout, Sydney and Tristen Klause, Kashys, Logan, and Kaleb Thomas; adopted grandparents Travis & Veronica Plaited Hair; numerous great aunts and uncles; cousins from the Calf Robe, Davis, Black Water, Big Swallow, Day Chief, Scout, Wells, Big Sorrel Horse, Rider, Russell, Shouting, Weasel Head, Small Eyes, Bull Shields, and Wolf Plume Families. My little man, down what centuries of light did you travel to reach us here; your stay so short-lived; in the twinkling of an eye you were moving on, bearing our name and a splinter of a Human Cross we suffer, flashed upon us like a beacon. We wait in darkness for that light to come around, knowing at heart you shine forever for us. Dezeray and Dexter would like to thank Dr’s. A Wake Service will be held at the Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Tuesday, September 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Wednesday, September 25th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Scout Family Cemetery, Blood Reserve.
