May 9th, 1930 – October 3rd, 2013 WILLIAM “BILL” HNATIUK, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the age of 83 years.

He is survived by his loving wife Vivian of 60 years, four children, daughter Debra (Jim) of Cranbrook, BC, daughter Charmaine (Dan) of Lethbridge, AB, son Bill (Sharon) of Crowsnest Pass, AB, and daughter Sydney of Lethbridge, AB, six grandchildren, Mike, Kim, Kelsey, Austin, Sam and Megan. He also leaves four great-grandchildren and his brother Steve of Lethbridge, AB. He is predeceased by his parents Frederick and Marie, precious grandson Tyler, sister Dorothy, half brothers Nick and John, half sister Annie and step brother Willie. Bill was born in the Lethbridge area and spent his earlier years as a farmer. From a young age he showed a keen interest in anything mechanical and eventually he made it his career as a heavy duty mechanic. Bill could always be found in his garage working on many different projects. His leisure time was spent camping, fishing and spending time with family. Family and Friends are invited to a visitation at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 1:00 to 1:45 P.M. with a public graveside to follow at MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Glenda Wert officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1011 – 2 Avenue South, Lethbridge or the Lethbridge Humane Society, 2920 – 16 Avenue North, Lethbridge.
