KOLK Tine

TINE (TRYNTJE) KOLK (DONKERSGOED) beloved wife of the late Herman Kolk of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away with great peace and dignity on November 2, 2013 at the beautiful age of 82 years. Tine was a lady of ‘true grit’ and quiet faith and lived her life to the fullest. She was born in Holland and immigrated with her family to Canada in 1948. Tine was not a stranger to loss and sisters Janny (Steve), Gerry (Hank) and brother Bert (Dina) left this world before Tine. Tine married Herman in 1953 and was a wonderful mother to her two children Paul (Linda) and Marion (Ron). Grandson Aaron (Jennifer) was a source of joy to his Oma. Her sisters Hennie, (Arie), Anna (late Meindert) , and Stiena (Hank) were a huge part of Tine’s life as were brothers Gerrit (Joanne), Tymen, (Mary) and Ken (Dinie). One of Tine‘s greatest gifts was her ability to make and maintain marvelous friends who will miss her dearly. Tine loved to knit and many brand new babies have modeled her handiwork. Tears will be shed, and laughter will be shared at a Celebration of Life that will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Friday, November 8th, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Glenda Wert officiating.
