FIORILLI Martino

1928 ~ 2013 Martino Fiorilli of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Enza Fiorilli, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 6, 2013 at the age of 84 years.

Born November 11, 1928 he emigrated from Italy to Canada in the early 50’s where he resided in Lethbridge until his passing. An extremely hard worker, he spent the majority of his career with United Feeds (UGG). He took pride in his home and garden and his greatest joy was his grandchildren and taking walks with the family dog, Pico. Along with his wife Enza, he created long life friends and his home was always open to everyone. His precious generosity will be missed by all. The past few years he resided at Good Samaritans – Park Meadows where he garnished the hearts of many. Nonno will always have a place with our hearts – deeply loved, deeply missed. Martino is survived by his daughter Anna (Tim) Thompson, son John (Laurie) Fiorilli of St. Albert, grandchildren Chais, Tianna, Julian, and Marco. Martino is survived by his sister Natalizia Fiorilli-Daniele, and his brother Carmine Fiorilli, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Besides his loving wife Enza, Martino was predeceased by his parents Domenico and Luisa Fiorilli, brothers Giovanni, Nicola and Aquilino Fiorilli, and his niece Antonietta Daniele. Vigil Rites will be held at 7:00pm, on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00pm, on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 13th Street North, Lethbridge, with Father Nathan Siray officiating.
