Jovan passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the age of 66 years. He leaves behind his loving wife Zdenka and two daughters, Jelena (Edin) and Mirjana; cherished grandfather to Oliver; brother to Dobroslav (Novka); uncle to nieces, Neda and Branislava; brother to Slobodan (Slavka) and uncle to nephew, Branko.
He will also be missed by families Jojic, Popic, Jeftic and Urosevic as well as many family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Simeon Mirotocivi Serbian Orthodox Church (2001 – 31 Avenue SW, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow in Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jovan’s name directly to St. Simeon Mirotocivi Serbian Orthodox Church.
