HAMMOND Dorothy

Dorothy M. Hammond beloved wife of the late Henry Hammond passed away on December 7, 2013 at the age of 96 years. Dorothy is survived by her children Charlotte (Lary) Dwyer, Bruce (Lynne) Hammond, Brian (Lauraine) Hammond, and Rosemary Piquette, four grand children Randy, Wendy, Lance and Jody, three great grandchildren Hailey, Gabby, Cassy, two great great grandchildren. Besides her loving husband Dorothy was predeceased by parents Sarah and Herbert Diamond and brothers Lawrence and William Dorothy sponsored several foster children over the years. She liked to do crosswords, reading, playing the flute. She had a beautiful voice and sang in the choir. Dorothy taught Sunday school, and taught dance classes with Henry. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Friday December 13,, 2013 at FOOTHILLS COMMUNITY CHURCH, 1200 Ken Thornton Blvd, Pincher Creek AB, with Pastor Jim Nightingale Officiating.
