CRANE CHIEF Karen

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear KAREN CRANE CHIEF in Lethbridge on December 14th, 2013 at the age of 46 years. Karen was born to the late Dan & Eileen (Hairy Bull) Crane Chief on March 28, 1967 at the Blood Indian Hospital in Cardston, AB. Karen is survived by 3 siblings – Clarence Crane Chief, Sherry (Blaine) Parkins, and Wanda Crane Chief (Oliver). She is also survived by her 2 uncles Martin Hairy Bull and Robert Bad Man; 1 auntie Myrna Chief Moon. She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings Clara, Doreen, Bernice, Linda, Brenda, Martin, Daniel, Douglas, Jonas, Roland , and Cory Crane Chief. Karen was a very kind and humble person who couyld often be depended on to help care for her nieces and nephews. She was everyone’s favorite “Auntie”. She enjoyed playing cards, pool, jacks, and crossword puzzles. Karen was also known for keeping her room tidy and keeping all her thins organized. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A Wake Service will be held at Street’s Alive, Lethbridge on Sunday, December 22nd, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and continue at the Levern Community Hall, Blood Reserve from 7:00 p.m. continuing all night. The Funeral Service will be held at the Levern Community Hall, Blood Reserve on Monday, December 23rd at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Kissick Officiating. Interment in the Pioneer Cemetery, Blood Reserve.
