MAY Jean

It is with great sadness that her family announces the passing of JEAN MAY on Friday, December 20th, 2013 at the age of 95 years.
Jean and her twin sister Joan were born in Lethbridge on December 18th, 1918 where she lived a full and joyful life. She found her greatest joy in her children and grandchildren who will cherish many wonderful memories. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Leslie Arthur May; her twin sister Joan Murfin and sisters Hazel Leys and Phyllis Wernick. Jean is survived by her children: Patricia (Don, deceased) McLeod, Margaret (Brendan) Saunders, James (Judy) May, Stanley (Brenda) May, Sharon (Rob) Plante, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held, following a private family burial, at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 — Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 2:00 P.M., with Rev. W. Oord officiating. In memory of Jean, contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Foundation, Palliative Care Unit, 1400 – 9th Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 4V5.
