CARROLL George

MR. GEORGE KENNETH CARROLL, beloved husband to Dorothy, married for 68 1/2 years of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January  1, 2014 at the age of 89 years.

George is lovingly remembered as a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather by his wife Dorothy, son Ken (Bev) Carroll, daughter Colleen (Geof) Van Egmond, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. George was predeceased by his parents, three sisters and three brothers. He was born July 5, 1924 in Verwood, Saskatchewan. George will be sadly missed. Psalm 23 The Lord Is My Shepherd; I shall not want He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me  in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. A Private Family Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME with interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery on Monday, January 6, 2014 with Rev. Larry Hankinson, officiating.
