MCDONALD Margaret

MARGARET “PEGGY” CHRISTINE MCDONALD, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 28th, 2013 at the glorious age of 90 years. Peggy was born in Coleman to John and Sarah McDonald. Peggy lived and worked in Calgary before moving to Lethbridge where she was employed at various businesses and companies. Peggy’s retirement years had her involved in varied pastimes, mostly enjoying games of Bridge with her friends. Her greatest passion was music and singing. She was a member of many choirs and choral groups throughout the city. She also had a great affection for family and friends. Peggy was predeceased by her parents, John and Sarah McDonald, her brothers Jim and Bernard, her sisters Florence, Isobel and Penny. She is survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn her loss are many wonderful friends including her very special friend and confidant, Cam Peat. A family service will be held at a later date in Coleman.
