NOLIN Linda

April 16, 1949 – Medicine Hat, AB December 23, 2013 – Calgary, AB Friends and family of Linda Maxine Nolin sadly announce her passing on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.

Linda experienced a spinal stroke in September 2013 and succumbed to heart failure in December 2013. Some may remember Linda as a student at LCI and possibly as a graduate from University of Lethbridge in 1988. Others may recall her from her days in the jewellery business and her teaching career with children having special needs. She related well to children from a variety of cultures. Linda moved to Calgary in 2001 where she continued her teaching career in home schooling until her retirement in 2008. Linda is survived by her long-time friend and companion Bob Alexander of Calgary, AB; siblings, Beryl Layton (Lynn) of Lethbridge, AB, Glen Payne (Pat) of Lethbridge, AB, and Lloyd Payne (Jean) of Calgary, AB; along with nieces and nephew, Donna, Perry and Michelle; and numerous grandnieces and nephews. She was especially fond of step-daughters Julie of Edmonton, AB and Jill of Red Deer, AB. No Memorial Service will be held, however family and friends will gather at a later date to remember her life. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
