Posted: January 9th, 2014George Vanee, beloved husband of Irene Vanee of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away peacefully after a short illness at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the age of 79 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his children Elaine (Darren) Toth of Lethbridge and their children Branden, Lauren and Jennifer; Randy (Camille Musters) Vanee of Calgary and their children Sheldon and Danielle; and Jenny (Steve) Oseen of Lethbridge and their children Jordan and Taryn. He is also survived by his siblings Jane (Pete) Swart, Corrie deKruif, Chris Vanee and Rita (Pat) Papworth. He was predeceased by his parents Jannegje and Jan as well as his siblings John, Reyna, Hennie, Jannie. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 1818 – 5 Avenue South, Lethbridge Alberta on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. Viewing will take place at the church prior to the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to a charity of their choice.
