MR. JOHN LATURNUS SR, passed away at the Sunny South Lodge in Coaldale on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the age of 94 years. Those that wish may pay their respects prior to the Funeral Service at CORNERTONE FUNERAL HOME, from 12:00 P.M. – 12:45 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Bob Wallace Officiating.
I was saddened to hear of John’s passing and then a smile came to my face as I remembered some of the stories he told me and how he could tease and be teased. I miss my days at the Lodge playing with the seniors and hope to again be able to go back and play.

John was one of my favorite uncles. I miss him and auntie dearly. They were salt of the earth and meant a great deal to me.
