Tom left us peacefully after courageously fighting a fast growing brain tumor, in Edmonton on Saturday February 8, 2014. A loving father, husband, brother, uncle and friend. Left to mourn and celebrate his life (wife) Kathy Snider Holberton, (daughter) Kimberly Holberton, (daughter) Tanya Holberton, (son) Dion Holberton and two grandchildren Dean and Sara. Also missing him (twin sister) Isabella (Auntie Chick) Holberton, many nieces and nephews and his extended family on both the Holberton and Snider sides of the family. All of whom will miss his teasing and loving nature. Tom was predeceased by (father) William Leslie Holberton, (mother) Mabel Mildred Holberton Preece, (stepfather) Collin Preece, (sisters) Lorna Hazel Ulvestad and Georgia Lynn Ajtai. A Memorial Service celebrating Tom’s life will be held at St. Augustine’s Parkland Anglican Church (131 Church Road, Spruce Grove, AB) on Saturday February 15, 2014 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Tom’s name to Fort McMurray Minor Hockey or Edmonton Minor Hockey with the intent to get underprivileged kids into sports.
