On Tuesday February 18, 2014, Isobel Lank founder of “Care Bears” passed away. Isobel is predeceased by her best friend and loving husband Ernest, parents Robert & Alison Day, and two nephews. Isobel is survived by her daughter Christine (Ben Apeland), sister Joanne (David Heaton), eleven nieces & nephews, several great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, and one special grand kitty Avery. Isobel (Lion Mom) will be greatly missed by her extended family and all those whose lives were enriched by her touch. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Saturday February 22, 2014 at the PINCHER CREEK COMMUNITY HALL, 287 Canyon Drive Pincher Creek AB with Archdeacon Sydney Black, and Pastor George Takashima Officiating.
