EDGAR TROY WILLIAMS/ GOODSTRIKER, “Niinam Skokiitopi” (Medicine Pipe Rider) started his spiritual journey to the Sandhills on February 26, 2014 to reunite with his parents George (2009) and Peggy Goodstriker (2007). He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Netty; children: Eva Mai, Cloud, Katana, Enver; brothers: George Jr. (Tony), Duane , Bobby, Shane (Deana), Tyler, Lynn and River Johansson, Pete Sidley, Larry Talks A lot, Greg Crowchild, Moke Eagle Tail, Rob Penner, John and A.J. Stiff Arm, Kevin, Simeon and Hawk Williams, Frank (Joyce) Russell; sisters: Leona One Spot, Hanna Butson, Lenore Stiff Arm, Corky Johansson and Vicki Good Striker; aunts: Anne Wilson Schaef (Chuck), Hilda (Ralph), Linda (Calvin), Francis (James), Karen (Sam), Sarah (Buddy) Wesley, Theresa Johansson, Gayle Hitchcock, Norma, Mrs. Mary Singer, Mrs. Irene Tail Feathers, Mrs. Doreen (George) Little Shields, Mrs. May Weasel Fat and Mrs. Celina Good Striker; uncles: Wilton (Evelyn)Goodstriker, Calvin, Elroy One Owl, Terry Williams, Lionel (Jessica) Williams, Mike and Mary Wilson and Glen Gwinner. Troy was born into Traditional Blackfoot spirituality and enjoyed the sweat lodge ceremony, often assisting his father George. He was taught many sacred songs and using traditional medicine by using many different plants and roots. He also competed in many traditional dance competitions throughout the Pow- Wow trail . Some of his travels included Hawaii, Las Vegas, Boulder Montana International Gathering and other locations in Canada and the United States. Relatives: Plain Woman, Manyfingers, Eagle Speaker, Calling Last, Bad Arm, Hunt, Brave Rock, Standing Alone, Brown Weasel, Red Crow, Wings, Weasel Fat, Living In Process Family, Hollow Water. A Wake Service will be held at the Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Wednesday, March 5th from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. The Traditional Funeral will be held at the Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Thursday, March 6th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Blood Reserve.
