MCNEELY Gladys

It is with great sadness in our hearts we announce the sudden passing of our Mother and Grandmother, GLADYS MARY MCNEELY, on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Gladys was predeceased by her Mom and Dad, Ida and Tom Dudley, one son, Melvin McNeely and 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by two sons, Keith McNeely of Lethbridge, Eugene (Jane) McNeely of Lethbridge and two daughters, Brenda (Richard) Gesinghaus of Calgary and Roxanne (Dan) MacInnis of Calahoo, 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Gladys was born and raised in Monarch where the family farmed until 1940 when they moved to Lethbridge. In her younger years she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the AN&AF. She raised 5 children and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Her love of flowers showed in our gardens and, in her quiet times, loved doing puzzles. She touched us all in her own unique way and will be sadly missed by us all. A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 — Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Monday, April 14th, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., with Reverend Bob Wallace officiating. Cremation to follow, with a private Interment at a later date.
