It is will Great Sadness that the Family of John Jack Crowshoe Jr., announce his passing on April 15, 2014 at the Foothills Medical Center in Calgary, AB. John was born on June 2, 1939 in Brocket, AB. He was one of the last Great Horseman. The Wake Service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the residence of John Crowshoe’s. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Piikani Community Hall with Archdeacon Sidney Black officiating. The Interment will follow at John Crowshoe’s Pasture East of Kevin Crowshoe’s residence on the Piikani Nation. A feast will be held following, at the Piikani Community Hall after the internment.
