Our loving and generous mother Jean was an amazing woman who went with the flow of life, and always wore a smile on her face. She was a beautiful knitter, great cook, passionate traveller, lover of sports, and proud X-Ray Technician. Jean was a member of the Rebekahs, the Lions, and the Ladies Auxillary to the Royal Canadian Legion #43. She is survived by Linda Gaetz-Roberts (Ken) Wetaskiwin, Bonnie Gaetz-Simpson Calgary, Cathy Gaetz-Brothen (Chris) Vernon, Peggy Bonertz Cameron (Rob) Pincher Creek, Scott Bonertz (Nina) Calgary; stepchildren Joyce Bonertz Pincher Creek, Wayne Bonertz Atlanta, and Norma Skujins (Andy) Edmonton, as well as a sister Nellie Kulcsar (Chester) Calgary, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Jean was pre-deceased by her husband Joe Gaetz, and her second husband Joe Bonertz, step-daughter Anna-Mae Healy, her sisters Hannah Iverson, Bea Sauter and brother Jack McRae. Please join the family in a Celebration of Jean’s life at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 3 at the Pincher Creek United Church. 972 Police Ave., Pincher Creek, AB, with Brent Woodard Officiating.
