Our beloved mother, grandma and great grandma has courageously earned her angel wings. Vi passed away peacefully Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Vista Village Good Samaritan Lodge in Pincher Creek at the age of 82. Vi was born and raised in Pincher Creek where she met her late husband Walter. Together they raised their family on the farm North of Beauvais Lake. Vi enjoyed gardening, picking berries, playing cards and her family. Vi is survived by her three children, Diana (Rob) Halladay, Dennis (Sharon) Mikilak, and Carol (Wes) Wescott; six grand children, Heather Hegelson, Tamara (Jason) Waites, Ken Metzler, Amy (James) Draganiuk; Trent (Jenny) Mikilak and Pamela Wescott; four Great grandchildren, Ashley and Marrissa Hegelson, Addyson Waites and Kaitlyn Mikilak; three brothers Wally (Diane), Ken (Carol) and Jerry Henes. Family and friends are invited to a memorial and luncheon at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Heritage Inn, 919 Waterton Ave, Pincher Creek, AB.
