HYSLIP Erin

Hyslip, Erin Leanne, of Vulcan, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, at Vulcan Community Health Centre on June 18, 2014 at the age of 20 years. Erin was born in Vulcan to Noel and Deb Hyslip in 1993. She attended Hazel Cameron Elementary and County Central High School, graduating Grade 12 in 2011. Erin was currently enrolled in her second year of Business Management at the University of Lethbridge when diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. Erin was a "Small Town" girl who relished the country life and the ethics and lifestyle that entailed. Always gentle and kind, personable and loved by all that had the privilege of having her in their life. A one true …."Beautiful Soul". Erin is survived by her beloved parents Noel and Deb Hyslip, sister Megan Hyslip, brother Jay Hyslip, Grandma Mary Hyslip of Vulcan and Grandma and Step Grandpa Gerdie Greene-Rice and Jack Rice of Lethbridge, AB, numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and close friends. Erin was predeceased by her grandpas Amond Hyslip of Vulcan, AB and Boyd Greene of Lethbridge, AB. Funeral Service was held at the Vulcan Cultural Recreation Centre (504 – 4 St. South) on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 1:30 pm with Sue MacDonald, D.M. officiant. Interment Vulcan Cemetery.
