Beverley Anne Stretton (nee Allen) born October 29, 1933 passed away peacefully in her sleep July 14, 2014 in Calgary at the age of 80 years. The family is relieved that our merciful God has released her from the pain and struggle of the last few years. Bev was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. Bev was predeceased by her husband Herbert William Stretton in 1985. She was also predeceased by her partner Harry Hudson in 1998. Bev will be lovingly remembered by her son Allen (Jennifer) Stretton, daughter Barb (Harry) Last and her grandchildren Bradford (Liza) Stretton, Nicole Stretton, Melissa Stretton, Kristopher Stretton, Debbie Dankel, Julie Hardin and Robert Last. Bev is also survived by 9 great grandchildren including her recently arrived great grandson Gabriel Stretton. Bev will also be remembered by Tom Hudson, Roy Hudson, Douglas Hudson, and Doug’s son Michael. A celebration of Bev’s life will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Okotoks on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 1pm.
